Since Grandma and Papa were in Dallas having a well needed visit with the Chappell family, they couldn't make it to the pumpkin patch party. So they wanted to host a celebration for Emily's first birthday at their house on their return. Yesterday we headed back to Corunna to see them and it was a very nice day. Lots of food and family, and a very cute kitty cat cake (which unfortunately I don't have a picture of because I forgot my camera - bad mommy!)
We were joined by Jodi, Todd, Tatianna and Aryanna; and Ron, Shelley, Ben and Grandma Dee. It was fun to see Ben with all of the girls who were having a very good time together. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, Emily's cold kicked up a gear and she was trying to deal with a pretty harsh cough, but she hung in there. (She has been sleeping for 3 hours so far this morning). So, thanks for having us Grandma and Papa, we had so much fun, and Riley got caught up on her Grandma time.
