CAAAAARRRRR!

Riley has been introduced to one of Canada's greatest past-times - Street Hockey. Started with the neighbor bring out 2 nets to shoot around with his son. Next Kris and Riley grab their sticks (Kris had fabbed up a wee stick for Riley in the summer)and join in the fun. Within about 20 minutes the neighbour 2 houses over peers out the window and grabs his stick and then the next house - you know how it goes. Riley didn't last too long, but found it fun to be able to be playing on the street, obediently running to the curb whenever someone yelled CAAARRR and hauled the nets to the side of the road. Not sure, but we think she might be a lefty, taking her shots always from the back of her right hand curved stick. Kris on the other hand had to be called in about an hour later from which looked like a decent 5 on 5 (or at least 4 on 4) game. Oh and about the helmet - Riley had just been riding her trike so had it on, and we thought ahh, she might as well keep in on.
