Book Club

After spending the last few days on playdates - Landyn and Julie's on Monday and to Dorchester to the splash pad, then back to my friend Kathleen's today - I was able to go out for a little bit of total "adult" time tonight. It was our first gathering for our newly assembled 'book club'. It went really great. Shari hosted, and the chatter was great. We read "My Sister's Keeper", which was a really good book. Kind of a sad story but an easy read. Anyway, it is really just a good excuse to get out, have a few glasses of wine and have a good topic of conversation. I'm looking forward to next month. Just have to post Riley's rendition of "Oh Canada" that she sang for me today. A friend had forwarded me an e-mail of a 3 y old singing the Lords Prayer on You Tube, which Riley had to watch 5 times. Well afterward, she wanted me to tape her doing a song so that I could put her on the computer, so here it is. - Enjoy ha! ha!
