Just wanted to post about the fun things we did to finish off the summer, and what a great summer we had.
Most of the time was spent enjoying our own back yard, but we did have a few away from home adventures, including our camping trip to Happy Hills.
There were 11 families and I believe 28 children that attended our camp-out weekend this year. So fun. Happy Hills had a ton of fun things to offer - here are a few of them:
The nightly Hayride - on the second night, they had Halloween in the park and all of the campers were throwing candy at us (and Emily still managed to fall asleep).
The outdoor floor hockey rink.
Mini Put-put.
The petting zoo.
Star Wars in the McDonald's Pop-up.
The splashpad, park and swimming pool.
Hanging out with friends.
Around the campfire.
We would start the evening out with the "kid" campfire - songs and games and loads of laughing. Then the kids were sent off the bed, and time for the "adult" campfire - songs and games and loads of laughing (with the addition of "R" rated lyrics and vino!!) A great time had by all.
