Happy 4th Birthday Riley

Well, it was not the weekend we planned for, but it definitely was one that was enjoyed. Riley managed to get through the weekend without being sick to her stomach. So I guess we have broken the every 36 hour cycle anyway.
Saturday it was a bit sad to see that her birthday party was replaced by a doctor visit and the dreaded stop at the lab for bloodwork. But she was brave and happy to receive some stickers and a candycane after. Wanting to cheer her up a bit, we gave her one of her birthday presents when we got home. A "Sticky Mosaic" jewel collection activity set. Wow, did this toy ever go over well with Riley - I knew it would. Let me put it this way, 3 finished pictures and 5 hours later we finally had to stop for supper.
