FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

So I was a little nervous this year sending Riley off to school. Even though she is now in SK, it was a new school and new neighbourhood and everything was foreign. The biggest change this year is the bus. Putting Riley on the bus the was more than a little nerve wracking (thank goodness I would be following that bus in my car). We were all there for the big send-off and Riley was doing really great - better than me. It is now a normal thing for her - getting on and off the bus - we are so proud. She really likes her new teacher Mrs. Russell. and a few of the kids in her SK class are with her at Tigger's too, so that is great. The school is excellent, and is jumping right in to the new year. They've already had a pinwheels for peace event (The school is part of the "Peaceful School" program) a meet the teacher event with pizza, pop and meet the mascot too, a book fair, the list goes on. Here is our big girl on her big day.
